A1 DATASHRED is a proud member of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID). The NAID Certification Program establishes standards for a secure destruction process including such areas as operational security, employee hiring and screening, the destruction process, responsible disposal and insurance.

Onsite Hard Drive Destruction Process:

• A uniformed A1 DATASHRED Security Specialist arrives at your location and takes the hard drives to our mobile shredding truck.

• The hard drive’s serial numbers are recorded onto a certificate of destruction and sent to you after destruction for your record.

• Then the hard drives are completely destroyed (not degaussed or sanitized and resold).

• Any remaining material is commingled, melted down, and recycled.

Offsite Hard Drive Destruction Process:

• A uniformed Security Specialist arrives at your location to pick up the hard drives.

• The hard drives are put in a secure truck and brought to our facility for destruction. 

• The hard drive’s serial numbers are recorded onto a certificate of destruction and sent to you after destruction for your record.

• Any remaining material is commingled, melted down, and recycled.
