The Town of Bedford Department of Public Works is holding a paper shredding event this Saturday, October 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Compost Center on 108 Carlisle Road.
Documents will be destroyed on the spot in a mobile shredding truck. Bring your old medical bills, old tax returns, and or bank statements to be shredded in a secure manner. Protect your identity by shredding your personal information. A1 Datashred will destroy paper information.

The event is open to Bedford residents only. There is a limit of five boxes per car and residents will not be permitted to watch their documents get shredded. A proof of residency is required.
In addition to expanding the hours, to avoid traffic backing up on Carlisle Road and Winterberry Way, the DPW is alphabetically staggering the hours by last name and is asking for residents to come at the appropriate hour.

N-Z 11AM-Noon
All residents Noon-1PM.
